In its role as official timekeeper of the Bocuse d’Or 2007, the Manufacture Blancpain enjoys the immense privilege of associating its name with international gastronomy’s best-known cuisine contest. The world’s oldest watch brand, which shares an undeniable flair for the art of living and refinement with Haute Gastronomy, thereby brilliantly celebrates its passion for this distinguished universe.

Faithful to tradition, Blancpain pays homage to the time-honoured methods of mechanical hand-crafted watchmaking. Far removed from assembly line production, each Blancpain watch is assembled from start to finish by a single watchmaker. In the same way watches were made two centuries ago, the movement components are painstakingly finished by hand according to the noblest precepts of the horological art. Even though respect for tradition has always been a fundamental principle upheld by the Manufacture in Le Brassus, its philosophy is guided by a second watchword: innovation.
