Illycaffè associate member of the Bocuse d’or

December 2006 – For the very first time this year, illycaffè participates in the famous gastronomic contest, the Bocuse d'or both as a member and a partner.

In order to illustrate its aspiration for excellence, illycaffè is associated to the Bocuse d’or to remind that the best meal is to be ended with the best espresso thus offering the “final touch” to a great taste experiment.

The Bocuse d'or as an international contest opposing every year for 20 years about twenty chiefs using the same ingredients, has helped developping the know-how and the inventiveness of the participants. The contest taking place in public makes it a show not unlike a sports competition given the implication of fans. Concern with excellence and rigour associated to the pleasure of the taste are values worthy to illycaffè.
