This family business founded by the former Champagne wine broker Alain Thiénot is located in Rheims. The cellars lie at 300 m from the famous cathedral, stretching a total of 2 Km into the soft chalks.
Pursuing a strict policy of quality control and using "grands" and " premiers crus" grapes from its 22 ha of vineyards, its wines are to be found in the finest restaurants.
As partner of the Bocuse d'Or since 2001, Alain Thiénot is pleased to take part in the 2007 Bocuse d'Or and to be associated with the pursuit of excellence encouraged by Paul Bocuse, helping to discover and promote the outstanding chefs who will ensure the reputation of the finest tables in France and elsewhere.
In the Bordelais, Alain Thiénot owns several "Châteaux":
• Château Rahoul, Graves
• Château la Garance, Graves
• Château de Ricaud, Premières Côtes de Bordeaux and Loupiac
• Château Haut Gros Caillou, Saint Emilion
In 2001, he invested in the Languedoc and created his first wine « Les Caillasses ».
