The Bocuse d’Or Intercontinental trophy was conceived as a contemporary art piece,
which celebrates gastronomy on the highest level of excellence. The sensual curves of the trophy recall the notion of pleasure and more particularly the one of the ecstasy of the taste. The very characteristic silhouette of Paul Bocuse is engraved in the mass and certified the excellence of the competition as a stamp. The volume is given by the breath of the glass artist, the shape is manufactured by the hand.”

Concentrated on contemporary creations, the sculptural work of Vincent is monumental, daring, sweet and sensual.  These sculptures play with the light of space surrounding and disorder the perception of the spectator.  The human dimensions push back the limits of blown glass.”

For the Bocuse d’Or Europe 2008 there will be on trophy for the winner as well as for the silver and bronze positions (reduced size). In addition the first three ones will receive:

1st prize : €12 000
2nd prize : €9 000
3rd prize : €6 000
