For the first time, the selections for the Bocuse d'Or on the other side of the Atlantic will include South America, Central America, the United States and Canada!
It is in Mexico City, on April 12 and 13, 2018, that the Bocuse d'Or Americas will host 12 talented leaders who will compete to try and win their place in the 2019 Grand Final at the Sirha in Lyon, France.
This continental selection will highlight all the quality, richness, creativity and dynamism of gastronomy in the Americas. It is also a tremendous opportunity to promote Mexico and Mexico City.
Accompanied by their commis, the chefs will aim to showcase the gastronomic know-how and culture of their country, through two dishes (meat and fish) that they will have to produce in 5h35.
Only the top three chefs will then be able to participate in the Bocuse d'Or Grand Final in January 2019, and compete against the top leaders of other continental teams.
