The 10th edition of the Bocuse d'Or France took place on September 26 and 27, 2017 at the Maison de la Mutualité in Paris. Once again this year, the French selection of the Bocuse d'Or has seen the most promising chefs of the moment compete.
After receiving more than 120 applications, the National Organizing Committee, chaired by Régis Marcon, shortlisted 19 candidates. They had 1 month to send photos of a composition on the theme of the test on tray and plate. The selected chefs made the most of their technique and creativity during an intense 5-hour, 35-minute event. Assisted by their commis, they made a meat plate and a fish plate.
This year, Matthieu Otto won the title, and will represent France at the European selections on June 11 and 12 in Turin.
