The 23rd and 24th of September 2019, the Palais de la Mutualité in Paris will host the 11th Bocuse d’Or France in prevision of the European selection and then the upcoming finale of the prestigious competition in 2021. 8 participants were selected by the National Committee of Organization within 100 applications.
Bocuse d’Or France is the first step of this new cycle, where aspiring renowned chefs, who convinced the committee by their accuracy and creativity, will try to get qualified in order to represent France at Bocuse d’Or Europe in Tallinn (Estonie) in June 2020. In case of a qualification, the winner will participate at the international finale in Lyon in January 2021 and thus, make tricolor gastronomy shine through the world.
A wonderful human saga is starting for those 8 prospects of the French haute-cuisine about to live an exceptional experience. Their personalities will be test with as much attentiveness as their professional talents and masterly techniques.
This national selection promise, once again, moments full of emotion and performance. Each candidate is already getting ready for the 5 hours of test during which they will make a platter around rabbit and 8 plates with artichoke, a basic product that will be sublimated in the hands of the candidates.
At the end of this French selection, the winner will integrate the big family of Bocuse d’Or for a wonderful 18 month human adventure and will profit of the support of the Team France.
For the finale of Bocuse d’Or 2021, one goal: bringing back France on the podium!
