Latvia's Bocuse d'Or national selection took place on 6 September 2025 during Riga Food Expo 2025 at the Ķīpsala International Exhibition Centre in Riga.
Three candidates competed for the opportunity to represent Latvia at the next stage of the Bocuse d'Or cycle.
As the fourth Latvian national selection for Bocuse d'Or Europe, the competition aimed to identify the chef best prepared to carry the country's colours on the international stage and compete for a place at the continental selection.
Representing Latvia on the International Stage
Following the competition, Dinārs Zvidriņš was selected to represent Latvia. Executive Chef at the 15 by Twelve signature restaurant within the Pullman Riga Old Town Hotel, he brings more than 15 years of culinary experience to the Bocuse d'Or journey.
No stranger to the competition, Dinārs previously represented Latvia at the Bocuse d'Or Europe selections in Tallinn, Budapest and Trondheim, and was also Latvia's candidate at the Bocuse d'Or Grand Final in Lyon.
His selection for the 2025-2027 cycle reflects both his experience and his long-standing commitment to the Bocuse d'Or Team Latvia.
The Latvian team finished 11th in the European continental qualifiers in March 2026, narrowly missing out on qualification for the 2027 Grand Final by just one place.
