Norway's Bocuse d'Or national selection took place on 23 September 2025 at the Stavanger Concert Hall in Stavanger, Norway.
Four candidates competed for the opportunity to represent their country at the next stage of the Bocuse d'Or cycle. Widely regarded as one of the strongest national selections in Europe, the competition brought together a highly experienced field of chefs, each aiming to earn a place on Team Norway.
The event formed part of the prestigious Årets Kokk (Chef of the Year) competition, which serves as Norway's official pathway to the Bocuse d'Or.
Christian André Pettersen Leads Team Norway
Following the competition, Christian André Pettersen was selected to represent Norway. Already a familiar figure within the Bocuse d'Or community, he went on to lead Team Norway at the Bocuse d'Or Europe 2026 in Marseille.
Competing against twenty European nations, Norway delivered an outstanding performance and secured the silver medal, finishing second overall behind Denmark.
This result earned Norway a place at the Bocuse d'Or Grand Finale, which will take place during Sirha Lyon in January 2027, and further reinforced the country's reputation as one of the world's leading culinary nations.
