Kraków Hosts the National Selection

Poland's Bocuse d'Or national selection took place on 6 November 2025 during HORECA Expo in Kraków, Poland.

Six candidates competed for the opportunity to represent the country at the next stage of the Bocuse d'Or cycle. Organized by the Poland Bocuse d'Or Academy under the patronage of Adam Chrząstowski, the competition challenged candidates to prepare both a platter and a plated theme.

The platter focused on duck, including black duck with skin and a selection of duck offal, while the plated theme featured beef tenderloin accompanied by a range of mandatory ingredients such as Polish potatoes, Brussels sprouts, beetroot and parsnips. The event aimed to identify the chef best equipped to carry Poland's colours on the international stage.

Kamil Tluczek Leads Team Poland

Following the competition, Kamil Tluczek was selected to represent Poland, alongside commis Patrycja Szoczepaniak and coach Ernest Jagodziński

A graduate of the School of Gastronomy in Rzeszów, Kamil has been working in the culinary profession for more than 17 years and currently serves as Head Chef at Patio Restaurant in the Grand Hotel Boutique Rzeszów and at Stary Browar Rzeszowski. Throughout his career, he has earned numerous distinctions, including winning the Bocuse d'Or Poland 2023, finishing second in the Bocuse d'Or Poland 2021, and becoming a two-time Polish Lamb Champion

Drawing inspiration from both French and Italian culinary traditions while remaining deeply rooted in regional Polish cuisine, he went on to represent Poland at the Bocuse d'Or Europe 2026 in Marseille, where he led Team Poland against twenty of the continent's strongest culinary nations. Poland finished 17th out of 20 countries in the European qualifiers in Marseille. The team therefore did not qualify for the 2027 Grand Finale.
