Qatar's Bocuse d'Or national selection took place from 28 to 30 October 2025 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) in Doha, Qatar.
Five candidates competed in the selection, each assisted by a commis chef. Organized as part of the 10th edition of Hospitality Qatar, the competition challenged participants to prepare a main dish and a street food creation, with all entries evaluated according to the official Bocuse d'Or scoring framework.
The event offered candidates the opportunity to showcase their creativity and technical expertise in front of a live audience of hospitality professionals and culinary enthusiasts.
From Doha to the Bocuse d'Or Stage
Following the competition, Luai Al Samadi was selected to represent Qatar.
A culinary professional with 18 years of experience, he currently serves as Occupations Sous Chef, leading banquet operations at the Four Seasons Hotel Doha The Corniche. Throughout his career, he has built extensive expertise in large-scale hospitality operations while refining his culinary skills in high-level environments.
As the winner of the national selection, Luai Al Samadi earned the opportunity to represent Qatar in the Bocuse d'Or Continental Selection later this year, and showcase the country's culinary talent on the regional stage.
